Accessing Your Matric Results:

Matric Results for the Class of 2021 will be released on the 21st of January 2022.

There are four main methods of accessing your matric results. It is important to familiarise yourself with them.

USSD:

To access your results via USSD you must:

Another way to access your matric results as soon as they are released is via SMS. To do this:

Online:

Online is a great option when you are looking for your matric results. The Department of Education stated earlier this year that results would not be posted on any public platforms as this goes against the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This caused some confusion around whether or not results would be published online.

However, this decision was appealed in Court, and on January 18th, the Court ruled in favour of the appeal, meaning that the Matric results for the Class of 2021 will be released on public platforms.

Newspapers:

There has also been some confusion around whether or not results would be published in newspapers. Newspapers fall under “public platforms”, and are included in the ruling made on January 18th, meaning the Matric results for the Class of 2021 will be released in the newspapers.
