This is an official policy document for teaching and learning in South African schools. Every approved subject, from Grade R – 12, is listed within the policy. The Programme and promotion requirements for grades, R – 12, is also included in the policy. For each subject, a Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement has been created. School-based Assessment
All learners registered for the National Senior Certificate must receive a School-based Assessment mark as part of their final promotion mark.
