Yes, there will be June exams in 2022. The exams will start on Monday the 9th of May until Friday the 23rd of May. If you are in High School, you are already registered for the May/June exam. If you are doing the supplementary exams or Matric Upgrade Course with Matric College, applications should have been submitted by the 13th of February 2022 for the May/June 2022 exam sitting.

Yes, you can write Matric in June if you are already in High School and if you have registered for the Matric Upgrade or supplementary exam.
What Is The Closing Date For Matric Rewrite 2022?
The next closing date for the Matric Rewrite 2022 is on the 15th of March 2022. You will write the exam in October/November. If you want to write the May/June 2022 Matric Rewrite exam, you should have applied before the 13th of February 2022. To qualify for this exam, you must have completed your Matric before. This means that you should have one of the following Matric Certificates:
- If you have a failed Matric Certificate
- If you have a Matric statement of results
- If you have a passed Matric Certificate that needs to be improved
Register At Matric College
Matric College is a distance learning college, this means that you will not attend any physical classes. You also do not have to attend any online classes that have been scheduled for you. You study in your free time, which means that you can work and study.
Here are the Matric Courses that are offered at Matric College:
Adult Matric
- You have to be 21 and older but you can apply at 19. Always be mindful of the fact that you have to be 21 when you write the exam.
- You must apply with your Grade 9 Certificate or
- Grade 9 Equivalent Certificate (ABET Level 4)
- You have to understand, read and write English or Afrikaans
- Complete this course via distance learning
Matric Upgrade
- Have already completed your Matric. Here is what your Matric Certificate status can be:
- A failed Matric Certificate
- An incomplete Matric Certificate
- A passed Matric Certificate that needs to be improved (From a Diploma Matric Pass Level to a Bachelor’s Matric Pass level)
- You have to read, write and understand English
- You can complete this course through distance learning
